High School Students Can Earn College Credit
Being a Career Pathways student provides many advantages. You have personal time with a career counselor who helps you decide what to do in school now to prepare for the future. This program also allows you to earn college credit in high school. When you get to college, you will be closer to graduation or will have room in your schedule to take additional classes.
Dual Enrollment
This process involves taking a class in high school that has the same course competencies as a college-level course. You are enrolled in high school and the community college at the same time. The result is a college transcript that lists the grade you earn in the class. Dual Enrollment courses can transfer to a four-year-school, but acceptance of transfer credit is ALWAYS up to the RECEIVING institution.
