NRCC offers GED and career prep classes in Floyd County

GED preparation and career and computer preparation classes are in session in three Floyd County locations. Computer lab and tutoring sessions are also available. Classes are held at the Floyd Learning Center (403 Locust Street) and Willis Elementary School (5075 Floyd Highway South). Students may enter the sessions any time throughout the semester.

The GED prep classes will cover math, social studies, science and language arts (reading and writing) topics necessary to prepare students to take the official GED test.

Career and computer preparation classes help students gain basic computer skills, learn how to prepare a resume and perform job searches in order to become better prepared for employment.
