ReNew is a vehicle for staying connected to New River Community College and its many friends and supporters. As a member of ReNew, there are many ways you can help the college, ReNew members, current and prospective students, and your community.
NRCC hosts a number of events and activities throughout the year for which volunteer assistance is needed. You can be an usher at the annual commencement ceremony, direct visitors during special events, share a talent through Student Activities, be a vendor at the Job Fair or a speaker on Career Day, or you can volunteer to tutor or mentor a student. It’s up to you.
To volunteer your time, contact the Alumni Office at 540-674-3600 x4211 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are always financial needs among our students. You may choose to endow a scholarship so that you can help students attend college year after year. Or you may choose to give a little every year to the college’s Opportunity Fund to meet students’ needs that come up unexpectedly. You can give to the Textbook Endowment, which provides assistance to students who have trouble paying for their textbooks each semester. You may even wish to donate to a specific project, like lab equipment or the baseball team.
Any time you are considering a charitable donation, we hope you will think of New River Community College. For more information and giving options, please contact the NRCC Educational Foundation at 540-674-3618 or email email@example.com.
