Recommended elective options include MTH 272, BUS 241 or BUS 100.

4Students may choose from college approved Humanities/Fine Arts electives.
ACC 211 transfers to Virginia Tech as ACIS 2115, and ACC 212 transfers to Virginia Tech as ACIS 2116 for New River Community College only. Students who plan to transfer these courses to VT will need to contact Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech to “substitute” the NRCC Principles of Accounting course(s) for the corresponding Virginia Tech Principles of Accounting course(s).
MTH 272 is also required for transfer as a junior in Business Administration at Virginia Tech. Students should consult requirements of the specific program at the transfer institution.
BUS 241 is required for students transferring into Radford University's College of Business.
