- Masters in Teaching - Hollins University
- Bachelors of Science in Industrial Technology - Roger Williams University
- Associate of Science in Horticulture - Virginia Western Community College
Industry Experience:
- US Navy High Pressure Pipe Welder and Quality Assurance Supervisor – responsible for the maintenance and repair of ship structure and piping systems. Other Duties assigned included:
- US Navy Master Training Specialist for damage control
- Safety Officer
- Environmental Officer
- Energy Conservation coordinator, Gas Free Engineer
Mr. Gilbert’s leisure activities include – boating, hiking, fishing and horticulture.
