Six middle school students had the opportunity to fly new quad copters through obstacle courses and solve cyber challenges at an event last weekend. The students were previous participants of New River Community College’s GenCyber Ninja day camps. The GenCyber Ninja camps are for middle and high school students to learn more about cyber security, 3-D printing and drones. Three week-long camps will be offered this summer and are made possible through a grant from the National Security Agency and National Science Foundation. Applications are available at NRCC’s New River Valley Mall site in Christiansburg and are due Thursday, May 31.
