NRCC Information Alert— Some colleges in the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) including NRCC have reported fraudulent VCCS college applications being submitted using existing student data. As a result, existing and former students should be vigilant and monitor credit and other identity information. It is possible that these fraudulent applications could be tied to federal financial aid fraud.
