Subject: Fall Tuition and Payment Plan Options
Sent: Friday, June 28, 2024 9:38 AM
Dear Students,
As you plan for fall classes, I want to make sure you know how to access the following:
Tuition and Fees
Tuition and fees for fall 2024 will be visible in the Student Information System (SIS) on Monday, July 1. The amount
due is based on the number of credits in which you are currently enrolled. Additionally, a tuition bill will be sent
to your VCCS email account and mailed to your home address. All students, regardless of
financial aid, scholarships, ACCE awards, etc. receive a tuition bill.
Follow these steps to view your tuition and fees:
Tuition Payment Plans
Tuition payment plans are available each semester. The first day you can enroll in a fall payment plan is Monday,
July 1. Early enrollment allows for the maximum number of payments. Details about the payment plans, enrollment
dates, payment amounts, etc. are available at:
https://www.nr.edu/business/pp.php.
NRCC partners with Nelnet Campus Commerce to let you pay your tuition and fees over time, allowing you to plan for tuition instead of paying for it all at once. Here are a few perks of setting up a payment plan:
Easy Enrollment
It’s easy to set up a payment plan – simply click on the link below or click on “Apply for a Payment Plan” from
your Student Center in SIS.
https://mycollegepaymentplan.com/nr
Flexible Payment Options
Choose your preferred payment method and add authorized parties (like parents or gua rdians) to make payments on
your behalf.
Stay Informed
Sign up to receive alerts, messages, emails, and more – so you’ll never get taken off guard by a payment or due
date.
Interest-Free Payments
Split your tuition into convenient monthly payments with zero interest.

Subject: 1098-T Tax Information
Sent: Wednesday, January 31, 2024 11:11 AM
All Students:
Your 1098-T tax form has been mailed to the mailing address listed in the Student Information System. This form is used to report information about student’s tuition to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as required by the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997.
This form is informational only and provides the dollar amount of cash, check, and credit card payments made for tuition in the current tax year (2023). REMINDER: You must have incurred out-of-pocket tuition expenses to qualify for a 1098-T.
If you are a student and have not received your 1098-T or need additional copies, you can obtain these copies by going directly to the TRA website at https://tra.maximus.com. There is no additional charge for these web copies. If you have issues or problems with your login, you can receive assistance by using the “Student Help” link on the left side of the website.
If you have any general questions about your 1098-T, please contact the NRCC Business office at 540-674-3605 or businessoffice@nr.edu.
Take care,
Dee Dee
